Ingredients:
2 Medium Carrots, cut into 1/2" pieces
1 Medium Onion, halved
2 Medium Celery Ribs (Cut into 1" pieces)
4 Medium Potatoes
3 lb Whole Chicken
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Freshly Ground Pepper
1 tsp Crushed Bay Leaves
1 tsp Dried Basil
1 tsp Dried Thyme
Directions:
Place carrots, onion, celery, potatoes and 1/2 cup water in slow cooker. Add whole chicken and top with remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours or on high 3 1/2-5 hours. Remove and arrange on platter before serving.
